Gilbert Technique Wedge

In a game of rugby, the key way to stop your opponent quickly, and efficiently, is through tackling. Technique is of paramount importance not only for safety, but for success.

Gilbert have designed specialist contact equipment in line with coaching requirements so players from juniors to elite athletes can improve their tackling technique efficiently.

The Technique Wedge enables players to improve their body position when making contact to prevent injuries to themselves and their opponents. It is also used in training to develop the correct head position, footwork and clearing out techniques to take their game to a whole new level this season.

The Technique Wedge has been tried and tested to exacting standards and is designed to absorb powerful impact with its PVC cover and foam inner. With useful straps on the back, the Technique Wedge can be held while players practice their positioning safely.

If you want to make endless improvements to your tackling this season, the Technique Wedge is a must have item.
